Westringia Fruticosa (Costal Rosemary)
Westringia fruticosa is a costal shrub located in Eastern Australia. This shrub has similar rosemary like foliage, makes a compact rounded shrub to about 1.5m high by 2m across with rather stiffly spreading branches, with hundreds of flowers, this creates a frenzy of for pollinating insects. The narrow leaves, arranged in 4's, are green, with white-felted underneath. the small flowers, white with purple blotches in the throat, appears most of the year. Westringia Fruticosa can tolerate high amounts of salt laden winds, and are drought tolerant.
Westringia fruticosa propagation is either by cutting or seeds which set at the end of flowering that are dispersed by the wind.
