What is Ethology
Ethology is the study of the animal behaviour. Ethology is the combined study of biology, zoology, psychology and it focuses on the skills acquired for each into the main idea of understanding animals and their minds. Ethologist, learn and study the lifestyles of animals and how they have evolved. They will also study about how they interact with animals of the same species and animals of another species, humans. Ethology is about asking questions like "how do birds know where to migrate to?" and "why do dogs like to chase cats?". In a nutshell, Ethology is the field of study of animals behaviour.

History
Konrad Zacharias Lorenz FRS was an Austrian zoologist, ethologist, and ornithologist. He won the Nobel Prize in 1973 along with Nikolaas Tinbergen and Karl von Frisch. He is regarded as one of the founders of modern ethology, developing an approach that began with an earlier generation, including his teacher Oskar Heinroth.
